McClintock Distillery is hiring for a tasting room position starting at $11/ hour plus tip compensation. We are looking for someone who has interest in a part-time position, 3-4 days a week, mostly between Thursday and Sunday from 12-6. This position will include opportunities to work in the tasting room which also hosts weddings and other private events for additional pay.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- educating customers through our tasting experience
- selling bottled spirits to bar customers
- maintaining a clean and sanitary area
- maintain a safe environment by adhering to local liquor laws as well as health code requirements
- maintaining knowledge of constantly developing spirits
- collaborating with management and other staff on ideas and products
QUALIFICATIONS:
- customer service experience in a bar or restaurant preferred
- willingness to learn and train
- dependability and dedication
- ability to multi-task and adapt to quick situation changes
- communication and problem-solving skills
- pleasant and professional demeanor
- punctuality
- Alcohol Safety certification (preferred but not required)
