Artist Pop-Up with MiLou Designs!

Joining in the fun, street-fair vibe of downtown’s pop-up dining, we are introducing a series of artist pop-ups! On select weekends, a local Muse maker will be setting up an outdoor pop-up display in front of the store. On September 26, join us in welcoming Michelle Duke of MiLou Designs, who will be setting up a pop-up shop of her whimsical home goods and prints! Our artist pop-ups are free and open to all! DISTRICT Arts presents “Have Brush, Will Travel”, original watercolors by Margaret Huddy. Huddy and her husband love to travel the world, with Margaret stopping to paint at outdoor cafes, park benches, on a moving train or on a rock by a mountain stream. Not only are the finished works far superior to a photograph but also allow Margaret to slow down and really see a place, absorb the color and atmosphere as well as often meeting the local people. NOMA’s ‘Life and Limb’ Opening Reception

Fingerstyle guitarist and composer Yasmin Williams hails from Woodbridge, Virginia. Her music has been described as unorthodox, modern, refreshing, relaxing, and unique and has been called some of the most imaginative guitar music out today. Great Frederick Scavenger Hunt: Halloween Edition

The Great Frederick Scavenger Hunt Halloween Edition kicks off Saturday, October 24th and continues through Saturday, October 31st.  Round two of the Great Frederick Scavenger Hunt challenges teams to put the ghosts of Frederick to rest by solving 100 clues that take them to spooky locations throughout Frederick County.  The team that scores the most points will win a prize pack courtesy of participating businesses.  This hunt is a multi-day, socially distanced event presented in partnership with Surelocked In Escape Games and The City of Frederick 275th Anniversary Committee.
