DISTRICT Arts is pleased to present Laurenee Gauvin’s homage to her Haitian roots. This featured-artist exhibition introduces an emotional look into what home feels like in today’s climate. “Home Away from Home” reflects the journey and the arrival of Gauvin as an exciting and thought-provoking presence on the contemporary art scene. The exhibition runs from March 1 through March 26 and is free and open to the public. A reception with the artist will be held from 5-7 PM on Saturday, March 4.

Community Acupuncture @ Sol Yoga

Join Ava Toppo, L.Ac. at Sol Yoga on Tuesday March 14 from 5:30-7:30pm for community acupuncture. In community acupuncture, attendees are treated together in an open room. Each person will receive a 20-30 minute treatment geared toward their specific needs using acupuncture points accessible while fully clothed. Acupuncture is a simple medicine that has a profound effect on regulating the nervous system and affecting the body, mind, and spirit. Cost is donation based ($5-40 recommended donation).
