An ancient feast day will be observed here with a new event. The Feast of the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple celebrates the coming of the Light of the World forty days after Christmas. An ice sculpture of the church façade and steeple will be in front of the church all day. The 1855 neo-gothic church designed by Richard Upjohn will be open for visitors 10 am to 5 pm. Come join us at the Shed for Fire In Ice as we partner with Makers Mark to bring you a Makers 46 Old Fashioned ice luge, specialty cocktails, and hot beverages including a Makers 46 hot toddy to enjoy all night long. Food by Bryan Voltaggio and team, including our bacon & aged cheddar burger along with a fried chicken sandwich with our spicy secret sauce. Local oysters and shrimp cocktail. All activities will be available Saturday from 11am- 9pm at the Shed!

Heat!  Flame!  Smoke! Watch artists remove red hot pottery at 1800 degrees and transfer it to a combustibles chamber, then the combustibles burst into flame! When the flame is smothered, smoke commences its work on the cooling pots. Come share the excitement, and see the results LIVE at Fire in Ice this weekend from 11am-5pm.
