We’ve got a dozen local artist and crafters coming and it should be a wonderful event for getting unique gifts and meeting local talent!

The Literacy Council of Frederick County is partnering with FCB Bank, a Division of ACNB Bank and Curious Iguana for its 16th Annual Holiday Book Drive to provide new and gently-used books for elementary school aged children (PreK through 5 th grade). FCB Bank will be collecting donated books at their five locations (see addresses below). While the Literacy Council serves adult literacy needs, providing appealing, age-appropriate books to children fosters literacy at a young age and helps to break the cycle of lower literacy in families. We are excited to welcome the Silician Tenors back to St John on December 16th. Dinner is provided by the Knights of Columbus and has limited seating! After you register for your tickets you can either pay here or mail/drop off a check to the parish office.  Please make checks payable to St. John Your ticket will be your email confirmation or receipt from the office. Join FAC for an artist talk with Pamela Moulton, who will share about her exhibit “Beneath the Forest” currently on view at the 5 E. 2nd Street art center. “Beneath the Forest,” like much of Moulton’s previous work, fosters an ethos of generosity and creative exchange. The exhibit’s energetic sculptures and woven installations cultivate habitats for the imagination that raise awareness about our planet, offering windows of hope. Refreshments will be served.
