Philadelphia-based The Naked Sun stops at Sky Stage on their Mid-Atlantic tour! Fronted by singer-songwriter, Drew Harris, and guitarist, Tim Campbell, the Naked Sun have been a staple of the Philadelphia music scene for the past 10 years.  After spending the mid-aughts in the Baltimore, MD, eclectic and robust music scene, Harris moved home to his native Philadelphia to start a rock band with a little more edge than the folky “streetgrass” stylings of his previous bands (Cityslides, Red Sammy, Good Guise). Each month we present films that fall under one general theme in order to cultivate discussion about film as a mode of artistic expression. The last Tuesday of the month, local film makers are invited to share their work within the theme to be screened! Benefiting the Library’s Greatest Need Fund, this event is inspired by that Backwoods Barbie, Smoky Mountain Songbird, the irrefutable Queen of Country herself – Dolly Parton. Eat, Drink, and Be Dolly is free and open to the public. All ages are invited to attend but guests must be 21 and over to drink our special Dolly-themed cocktail.
