The Comedy Pigs Return! The Hip Hop Lecture Series: Mass Incarceration will be held on Thursday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m. as a Zoom Webinar. The program aims to encourage more people to engage in dialog around the issues facing the community through the use of hip hop music and the visual arts. Catoctin SlaveSpeak is a collection of narrative poems in the voices of enslaved Africans, as well as their enslaved descendants, who were imported to work at the Catoctin Iron Furnace in Thurmont, MD. FIND WALDO IN A WINDOW 2020 This year, our friend Waldo is a tad skittish about being within reach of hundreds of Waldo hunters in Downtown Frederick. But in the spirit of compromise, he’s hanging out in 40 storefront windows in July so Waldo hunters can spot him from a safe distance!   How it works: Find Waldo in a Window 2020 begins July 1 and ends July 31.
