Before Black Had a Name

February Events March Events

We challenge the concept of “The Black Monolith.” Through a unique selection of artists we solidify and explore diversity through a variety of mediums, narratives and concepts. We challenge viewers to digest the works while resisting the common practice of labeling the work or artists based on pre-existing conventions. Each artist is their own. Each work is its own. We honor the artists and their work by allowing it to be a reflection of the artists and their practice. Shungu Gallery February 12th – March 12th   Artists: Care.
