Woodstock, MD artist Marcia Palmer’s oil paintings embody her view of everyday life. In her work, she takes daily scenes and explores the intricacies that can make them captivating. She says, “It’s so easy to overlook the beauty in the details of things we see every day. I like to freeze-frame an image in an organic way and for the viewer to be able to connect with my work through its comfortable familiarity.” The exhibition runs from February 2 through February 27 with a reception for the artist on February 12 from 5pm to 7pm.
