Get a sneak peek at Frederick’s newest special event venue, Citizens Ballroom! Located in the historic PNC/Citizens National Bank building at Square Corner, the Ballroom will host private special events like weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and photoshoots. The former bank is being lovingly renovated to its original glory and updated for its new life as a celebration space right in the heart of town! The Ballroom will be holding Open Houses for the public from 1-4pm on First Saturdays starting in September for those who are curious to see the renovations of one of Frederick’s landmark buildings.

Free live artist demo! Local artist Laura Silberman joins us to demonstrate how she makes her signature pottery! Watch as Laura molds the clay to make a series of dishes, shop her work, and ask her all your burning ceramics questions. Demo is free and open to all! Visit the Facebook event for more details.

Relax in the beautiful garden of Heritage Frederick A member of the Garden Committee at Heritage Frederick will be providing a small activity and a guide to our beautiful garden. Learn how to create beautiful flowers made from paper! You will make several styles of flowers and then add them to a grapevine to make a fall wreath.
