So, without further ado, as a part of the Maryland Distillers Guild Spirits of Collaboration program, Tenth Ward Distilling Co presents their Maryland Brandy. They’re donating 30% of all sales to the state trade association, the Maryland Distillers Guild.

Local artist Doug Moulden is showing his newest sculptural landscapes. Using multiple media, Doug’s artwork is an amalgamation of rich color and texture. He feels that texture is always pleasing to the eye, a messy line is far more interesting than a clean one, and contrast is more effective at conveying emotion than color.

NOMA Gallery has invited six regional ceramic artists/potters to be included in this exciting exhibition. Each has advanced their chosen ceramic aesthetic and elevated the ceramic landscape. The silent film era returns to the big screen! As part of its Silent Film Series, The Weinberg will be playing two silent films on Saturday, January 20. The first showing at 3pm will feature the 1925 western comedy “Go West.” A young man who has had little luck at keeping a job, finds his way while leading a herd of cattle to the West Coast. You’re invited to an opening reception for Oakdale High School’s Black History Exhibit Project. Experience the exhibit and hear directly about their process and findings from the eleven students and their teacher, Kate Ehrlich. The creators believe that Black History is everyone’s history and that all members of the community will benefit from reading these stories, many found through original research by the students. The informative panels are on display during the month of February at the Library.
