This 2 hour workshop will offer body movement therapy with live music and will teach you how to heal through the heritage that our ancestors have left for us, such as how to wear a Turbante (African Head Wrap), Dance Festejo Peruano (Afro Peruvian dance), Zamacueca (Afro Peruvian Dance) and Puertorican Bomba De Loiza Movement techniques. In additiom, you will learned how musical instruments can help you heal.

Join us in honoring America’s veterans! Brass musicians will line up along Market Street beginning at Mt. Olivet Cemetery (515 S Market St), then along W 2nd St, with the last musician atop Calvary United Methodist Church’s belfry. At approximately 10:30am the first musician will play Taps twice, first to the street, then turn left to face the next musician.
