ESPtheatre presents an actively staged reading of “Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins” by Eric Kimmel.
Join us for this beloved holiday story come to life! On the first night of Hanukkah, a traveler named Hershel of Ostropol eagerly approaches a village, But when he arrives not a single candle is lit. He learns that goblins have taken over the synagogue, and the villagers cannot celebrate anymore! Hershel vows to help the villagers. But can one man alone stand up to the menacing (but also silly) goblins, save Hanukkah, and live to tell the tale?
Fun for all ages but geared towards kids ages 5+
