FBAC Grand Opening

Print Day in May was all about printmaking, but we are so much more than that; we specialize in bookbinding, letterpress, printmaking, and photography. Learn how these mediums exist on their own, or how you can combine them to create beautiful timeless works of art. Our facility offers classes, equipment rentals, studio work space, and knowledgeable staff that can help guide you through a project.

Our Grand Opening will be a two day event coinciding with the Festival of the Arts on Carroll Creek. We are a short .2 mile walk from the creek so come by our new space and check out what we have to offer:

Bookbinding demo on a sewing frame with Charlotte Mauler Hayes
Intaglio printing demo on our 1860’s Spider Press by Michael Bean
Free keepsake printed on a Platen Letterpress and Spider Press
Letterpress demo by Lisa Bledsoe
Artist books will be on display around the building
A show of prints in a variety of printmaking mediums and time periods
Help us decorate our windows with a school of fish prints
Print your own fish on a reusable tote bag ($10)
Bring your own t-shirt and print fish on it ($5)
