More about the Art on Main project:
This fall, the five Main Street communities of Frederick County — Brunswick Main Street, Main Street Thurmont, Middletown Main Street, Town of New Market and Downtown Frederick Partnership — will be installing temporary public art sculptures in each of our downtowns. The sculptures will be composed of brightly glazed mosaic tile designs and will be in place for one year.
To help decorate our sculpture, we’re looking for 60 community members to draw their own unique flower designs between now and June 27. Sculpture artist Parran Collery will then translate these designs into tiles and incorporate them in the final piece. Learn more at staging-dtwnfrederick.kinsta.cloud/artonmain
