Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage (AANHPI) Month is observed in the United States during the month of May to recognize the contributions and influence of Asian-Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
This free event is organized by the Asian American Center of Frederick with support from Downtown Frederick Partnership and promotes Asian heritage and culture through display of traditional art, dance, music, ethnic cuisine, and conversation about Asian way of life.
