Ronnie Burrage is based in New York and has been active on the international jazz scene for more than 40 years. At age 18 he moved from his home town St. Louis to New York where he started his career with McCoy Tyner. Since then Ronnie has played, toured, and recorded with a plethora of jazz’s greatest artists such as Wayne Shorter, Joe Zawinul, Jaco Pastorius, Frank Morgan, Sonny Fortune, Michael Brecker, Archie Shepp, Sonny Rollins, Pat Metheny, Bobbie Hutcherson, Jackie McLean, Kenny Kirkland, Kenny Garrett, Woody Shaw, Hamiet Bluiett, Sir Roland Hanna, David Murray, John Purcell, Anthony Cox, Don Byron, Jack Walrath, Gary Bartz, Dollar Brand, Sonny Fortune, Terumaso Hino, The World Saxophone Quartet, Dianne Reeves, Wallace Roney, Toots Thieleman, Grégoire Maret and many more.
