Volunteers should meet at the suspension bridge at 9:30AM on Saturday, April 23. We have waders, long water gloves, and work gloves a plenty. Dress in layers as temperatures can vary significantly and we work rain or shine! Bring heavy socks to wear in waders, a change of clothes and a towel for car seat in case you get wet.
The water level in creek will be lowered significantly exposing the tops of pots facilitating fertilization. We will:
> fertilize the perennial lilies, lotus and bog plants
> straighten up the plant stands and place the ones that we removed for the Sailing Through the Winter Solstice boats
> remove any residual boat anchors, and debris ..ie skateboards, chairs that have wondered into the creek
